well i was doing daily searches around wikipedia facebook and stuff,sometimes i would go on random sites when i would search for knowlege,and eatch time there would be a virus,now that i am using firefox i dont have these sort of problems,mabe one or two in a year appear to bug.

Again, what version were you using. IE9 is substantially safer than previous versions.
