Not actually robots.
It's about a middle-aged sponsored superhero who's a single dad. Basically, his popularity is fading as compared to the other younger heroes, so he gets paired up with a new rookie who's way more popular than he is as a crime-fighting duo.
It's basically about them getting along and learning to work together.

That sounds extremely interesting and literally right up my alley. I like the design, also. Reminds me of that one segment of Gotham Knight that I can't nor want to name.
