I wanted a recommendation from someone with a comparable taste to mine, or at the very least some sort of a substantial point to why I should watch it. You indirectly recommended it for no other reason than I think it's his best therefore it is, and proceeded to repost more of that good ol' Neon Barbie Sailor Moon Powerpuff Magic stuff. It's not the Anime and Manga thread. It's the Agree with Joe or get Impotently Talked Down to thread.

Could someone with taste in Anime beyond that of an adolescent girl indirectly give me a suggestion for something to watch so I can stop thinking about this putrid thread? Or maybe could Joe go indirectly fuck himself? Thanks.
Well that was needlessly immature of you.

So what? Are you saying 'You like X work by Y director, you might like his Z work' is actually a bad recommendation to make? Or are you using the time honoured 'Joe is very vocal about having eccentric tastes therefore his tastes are auto-shit' argument?

I was actually being not arrogant or presumptuous by suggesting something to you (Except in direct response to something else I know we both liked) so yeah. Being by the same director should be a good enough reason to go give it a look see, and if not, do you really think you'd watch Summer Wars based on a synopsis by me? I'm terrible at giving synopses, I feel embaressed because something I know to be amazing feels cheap and awkward when I try to blurb it. I hate synposes.

Also, just so you know, I have very very wide tastes
