He was a shitty boss. good ending, as a closer for the trilogy though. Reach's was breathtaking-pretty bold on bungie's part, I thought.

Considering how they pretty much had to be dead by the end of the game for most of the canon to work, I don't see how it was bold. I mean, Bungie doesn't usually fuck up the story
that much.
I also seem to be one of the few to prefer Halo 3's campaign over Reach's. Reach definitely had its moments, but as a whole I enjoyed Halo 3 much more for much longer. I think part of it has to do with Bungie's terrible achievement choice of asking players to beat Legendary solo, discouraging a ton of people from co-op Legendary runs.
