Did you use an asian dragon as insperation for Smaug's face?

As
Stranger has mentioned this is Rankin Bass studio's design (I googled "smaug" and found some stills from their animation). Original Rankin Bass' Smaug is pretty fat so I made my Smaug somewhat more slender. Also I added a tassel on his tail-tip so his tail doesn't look like one of a rat. Smaug's vibrissae, beard and back-hides really resemble a chineese dragon but this wasn't the original intention.
