I'm surprised you bothered, DI. The ads for the game alone made it feel like it wasn't even worth a rental.
I know. I was going to check out Rage, but Dorian has been complaining that there aren't enough co-op games for us to play together. So I got Gears.

I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that I needed to tailor my opinion of games to the reviews of others. It's just a boring game. Run. Grab cover. Pop up, shoot, run, grab more cover, insert whiny personal bullshit that feels out of place in a series that was [at least at first] about a dying world and a global problem. Run some more, slam into more walls, shoot, lob grenade, run, more lame plot points.

The only thing that makes it enjoyable is playing arcade mode with Dorian and making fun of her for her low scores.

I'm not saying it's a bad game, I'm just saying that I don't think it's as great as everyone makes it out to be.
