Frankly I'm personally offended that you think I just recommened you something with no thought about what you'd like. You offhandedly dismissed it not because you're not a fan of the medium (And believe me, it's very hard to find someone who would accept the vn medium), but, I assume, because you thought I was trying to plug you with something ONII-CHAN KAWAII
Do you honestly think I'd recommened something I, as an anime fan, like? No. I recommended you something that I, as a sci-fi fan like and something I believe you'd like too.
For the record, the series is probably the least Japanese I've played (Unless Japanese in your dictionary is a synonym for complex and multi layered) and for the record the game he wrote that got an official western release (Which, to note I've recently picked up and am playing)
was released to direct commercial and critical acclaim.
So yeah. I may not know what you like as well as you do, but I'd like to think I know something about your tastes as you do make a lot of long posts here, and I don't appreciate my recommendation being dismissed because it looks anime and the thing I advised you not to read is weird and complicated.
