Other than that I agree with STM's suggestion of making the Zappfly's light blue eyes and body a bit more luminescent.

So in fourteen years we've never previously had an explanation for that? In the art book it said it was 'another long story' or something.

A lengthy explanation has been offered multiple times. I even think it's in the FAQ in this very forum.
