I don't even know how to play Oddworld edits, either. AND I WANT TO.

As example if you get RuptureFarms level (R1.lvl) go to main folder in Abe's Oddysee
C:\Program Files\Oddworld Inhabitants\Oddworld The Oddboxx\oddworld abes oddysee
or
C:\Program Files\Abe's Oddysee
Create there folder called "Back Up" and copy all level (.lvl) files there...
Then you can replace with edited R1.lvl
If you want restore back to normal level then go to 'Back up' folder and replace to main folder...
(This is my method) 
In Hard Mode Abe will get installed different folder than currently exist...
