Agreed. I still, at age 29, lift my hand up to the screen every time I see that video.
This clip (from 2:22 to 3:30) from Grim Fandango gets me every time. The animation is late-90's crappy, but the atmosphere and direction are amazing.
(In case it's not obvious, flowers are the symbol of death in the Eighth Underworld)
