I actually make a point to look people right in the eye when I talk to them. I just do it to be polite, but most people think it's intimidating as hell.

It is, but I only meant eye contact when having sex. I always like the check the facial expression and eyes of the other person to make sure I'm doing a good job
Though it would be offputting is somebody purposely did something creppy with their eyes like that picture Sekto posted.
