I forget who said this, but they described PETA as "the activist group that all the other activist groups avoid at parties". My mother used to be a member of PETA, so I got all the trickle down. On the whole, I think PETA has done far more harm than good. It's more like a militia than an activist group. Throwing blood on people wearing fur coats solves nothing.
