I got fed up of having been a Minecraft player for almost a year and only ever having found one chunk that spawns slimes (in the mines below Genesis), so I'm taking a stand. I've found seven Chebyshevally contiguous slime chunks and I'm building a four-story slime farm spanning them all.
That's 16 × 16 × 4 × 7 = 7168 m2 for them to spawn in. Adequate lighting of the surrounding caverns and surface will boost their spawn rate, and I shall very quickly have enough slimeballs to complete my reed autofarm, which will give me enough reed to finish my library, which means I can finish building my bedroom on top of it and finally have somewhere to sleep at night.
