I don't starve myself but I find it effective to cut down the amount of meals I have in a day down to one and walk. And I mean fucking trek... no bikes or none of that easy option nonsense.
As Scrabtrapman said, the healthiest thing is to eat multiple small meals throughout the day. That's because each one hits your metabolism less hard, so it's able to process it better. Also, the simple act of digesting food uses up energy, so it's best to spread it across the day to have the greatest effect.

What about eggs?

E: Also many cheeses and some forms of thicker dairy contain very little carbs.
Eggs and cheese are fine.

And yea. I've read about low-carbing. I even tried it, but then my mom bullied me out of it cos she thinks its unhealthy <.<

Actually. If you cut out a significant amount of carbs, your body will need natural/real fat to lose weight. Try and look into the matter. It's quite interesting really.
Your mum is wrong, as long as you keep it to 'Low Carb' and not 'No Carb'. The healthiest diet (as dictated by actual doctors and scientists, and not kooks) is high protein, low fat and low carbs. However, what you're describing (in the second post that I quoted) sounds like the Atkins Diet, which only works in the short term and even then is extremely unhealthy.
