Apparently Team Fortress 2 is now free to play, downloading now.
How overwhelming will all the updates be to a person who has only ever played bare bones TF2 on 360?

Beat me to it. Maybe if I didn't watch the
Meet the Medic video at least five times this morning, I would have been able to share the news earlier.
Well, let's just say you'll have plenty to experience. I bought TF2 for PC around the first Halloween update, so I'm not familiar the "bare bones TF2" concept. I'd guess you'll be alright, especially if you get excited about all the items, hats, extra features and all.
