I play the guitar and I like to think I can play. The the reason I started the guitar was through listening to Sweet Child of Mine which was the first song I learnt.

So for the first three years of playing I was a blues/rock guitarist then I changed my sound and playing style to veer more towards Melodic Death Metal.

I used to solely use either standard tuning, down half a step or down a full step. They were comfortable and I know what I'm doing on those. But recently after the mad surge of Devin Townsend I've been playing almost exclusively Open C (which I fucking love) it really is a fun tuning and I advise every guitarist to play with this.

I know quite a bit of theory and although I can play I'm looking for a tutor or someone to help me with my technicality, theory and creativity. There's only so much you can do yourself.



This is my target, my goal. My desire. I fucking love this guitar and it looks almost pornographic and costs more than a clean, sophistcated, millionaire banging whore. My main infuences in my life is Mark Tremonti, Devin Townsend, Paul Allender, Marty Friedman and Gary Moore.
