*spams up the topic* My cat looks a bit like that one - He's also a Maine Coon. They're the friendliest and most docile breed of cat that I know of and are normally hardy and resilient to diseases, although they're prone to sudden unexpected heart failure, like my cat's sister who died suddenly in 2009 despite being apparently healthy.

Another trouble with them is that even when you brush them they still have a nasty habit of puking up hairballs everywhere when you least expect it. That alone annoys the hell out of me. Also I'm constantly covered in his hair which is hard to wash off some clothes.

Still I'll be choosing another Maine Coon if I ever decide to get another cat after my one has passed. Their amazing temperament outweighs the problems they have.
