I perfectly get what you're implying which is why I previously pointed out that a 3D version of AO wouldn't just be copypasta of the original game, and it is something I personally want them to release rather than the current HD project. There's a reason why I put "wishful thinking" in the thread title.
Also anything about it "not working" with 3D is bollocks, look at the Munch's Oddysee pre-rendered vids than imaging a game in that style with AO's story.

You know what a remastering is right? Editing the game to make it 3D is not a remastering. Also, MO was
always going to be 3D, so they focused on ways to make it work, AO would have to be changed quite a lot and people prefer the 2D of it.
No more arguments about 2D and 3D from now on, there's no point anyway as it's already announced 2.5D. Plus, I've already made my point.
