Actually, now that I think about it, I think that Alcar once said that there was an internal script that works out how many boxes to show. It's similar to the OWI symbols under the username/title. He said he could tweak the maths of that script to change the display.

It's been a while since I've delved in to the vBulletin code, but if I recall correctly there is a hard-coded maximum number of bars that can be displayed. How many bars are displayed on a user's profile is based on this number and your current rep points.

Any restrictions on the dimensions, or is it just to be the same size as the current blocks? Perhaps the Wired and Angry mud faces for positive/negative blocks?

Oooo, those look good. I would prefer if the dimensions are kept around the same size, I don't want the images to be
too noticeable / distracting. However, there are actually five or six different colours for the rep bars. I'll find them and post them sometime today.
