Also, I've played Munch's Oddysee, but it was ages ago that I did. There might have been a secret area. My point was (AO/AE BTW), this version they're making is the original game, so it will have all the original secrets. You can't make some of the 2D secrets 3D without making them obvious. That would defeat the point.
If you don't get it, take a look at RuptureFarms, the the secrets behind the barrels, if it were 3D, you'd be able to see a gap there.

I perfectly get what you're implying which is why I previously pointed out that a 3D version of AO wouldn't just be copypasta of the original game, and it is something I personally want them to release rather than the current HD project. There's a reason why I put "wishful thinking" in the thread title.
Also anything about it "not working" with 3D is bollocks, look at the Munch's Oddysee pre-rendered vids than imaging a game in that style with AO's story.
