Does anyone remember when developers did their job and patching bug fixes after release was unheard of?
You mean before gamer culture and development procedure, including the rise of the internet and the subsequent perception of many forms of media as ongoing services rather than products, and enormous growth in the gaming population and the resulting exponential rise in pressure from publishers to release, shifted dramatically towards what we would recognise today?
