To be honest I think the oddworld fanbase is 10x stronger than Half-Life's, Dooms (Maybe), than any other game I have seen.

I don't think it's stronger than doom's.
There's a lot more people on there particularly for modding.
Some of the stuff they make (deathmatch levels) are amazing.
Maybe Half-life I dunno.
There's still a lot of people modding that as well which keeps it going.
Seems like user-created content is making it survive.
Oddworld's only starting to get user-created levels...
