You must be living in the past Surf. Women do go into the wars as medics and with the men in the fights. The army isn't just about killing people its got the medical section, computer section and many more. (You're in Australia haven't you seen them ads on tv "The Army the edge" stuff) they show women fighting in the East timor war thing.
About the sports yes men are better at their sports but women have their own sports that men arn't good at.
Now about the pain, women go through way more pain then men. And most sports do involve pain there isn't many sports that don't involve pain. Ok me shut up now.
