Went to the grocer's store today, I reckon we're safe, the TV is still working and nothing has changed. It's all the Russians fault they say. Even the BBC. No rationing, you can still pick up radio signals from some of America, we can get 'Smooth Curve Washington'. Some French refugees came through today, they weren't allowed to talk to us but before one was taken away, he shouted at the top of his voice, "De la Russie en Pologne, et de se rapprocher." I still don't think we should be worried though, especially if its just Poland!
Nevertheless we are going to stock up some food, Luther suggested it, that way we miss panic buying if anything happens. We ideally want seven weeks food in the house, we'll fill up the larder and the cupboards. I've become obsessed with sharpening my meat knife. There was an interesting broadcast talking about riots in Italy...poor devils.
