On a side note, I've discovered that an autistic kid at my school has had multiple charges for attempted rape. He's higher functioning and knows what he's doing. Scares the shit out of me.

until you said that I had no problem with what you have posted, to be frank this disturbed me and judging by peoples reactions I don't think anyone else was less disturbed, you can say your opinion but in this case youre opinion was already known and aside from the person being slightly autistic this has nothing to do with the topic and doesn't really belong here, out of all the people who do wrong things there are bound to be some who are autistic, as a guideline, after you type what you want to say, read it and if it is disturbing or you think it could be inturpreted in a way that would be disturbing, rephrase so it can't be taken in a disturbing way, or if that can't be done then delete the bit(s) that are or could be disturbing
