I hope you realize that people with autism don't intentionally strive to be bad behaved.
|
not all do but there are some who decide that because they have autism they can do as they wish and use the autism factor to shield them from trouble

Oh god, that reminds me...
I used to have an autistic friend named Kobi. Me, Kobi, and Chris would always hang out across the school, loitering and shit like that. Kobi had brought money, and had bought an ice cream.
Well, this mexican kid comes up to Kobi, and for no reason, punches him in the jaw. Kobi went berzerk on the kid and beat him over the head with the cone. It was great.

reminds me of my crazy days when they had me on add medicine, if any thing bad happened to me I automatically asumed that someone had done it intentionally and deserved a pounding, and anyone who tried to stop me also deserved a pounding. this lead to me head butting a teacher who was trying to stop me from beating up a kid who passed a tenis ball to me when I wasn't ready, needless to say I got suspended and they decided I needed to be reanalysed.

On topic: It bugs me when people torture mildly autistic kids, but treat the lower functioning ones like gods. Never quite got that.

in my year 10 support class one person had the teachers writing all his work down for him, but when he was in year 7 he was completely capable of writing his own work.
