How you draw them with so much character is beyond me, there's hardly loads of pictures or bone or anatomy to work it out.
Do you set you characters out with shapes, for example the methods used when getting the pose for the human figure. Or do you just draw away?

For example that latest one is improvised using the 3D chart in TOGG and some moose anatomy. :3 But usually I use the skeleton technique (lines and circles) to visualize the pose and then just draw away. ^^ Looking up a lot of forced camera angles in Stranger´s Wrath helps too. =P

I'd go as far to say that these Steefs are as good as the sketches in the Art of Oddworld Inhabitants Book.
