How come your hair is brown but your beard is reddish? What's up with that. Must be some kind of common trait I don't know about. Beards aren't real popular around here.

I don't know, chalk it up to the Irish side of my heritage. I had reddish hair on my head until I was about five, then it went brown.
My beard also shifts is color throughout the seasons. In the summer it goes more blondish, but gets fairly dark in the winter.
