Speaking of Russia's stand on this
My father has been watching the whole thing in Libya through a Russian News station. He's saying it that american/english are blowing the whole thing out of proportion. That, in truth, the number of rebels aren't really that significant compared to the number of loyalists, and while they do have a hefty bit of territory covered they don't stand a chance against Gadaffi forces. He's also a believer of the idea that the whole civil war started over Al Queda manipulation.
Thoughts? I'm afraid I haven't been following the situation over there too closely, and the idea I'm getting is that Gadaffi = bad guy but my dad is hell bent on proving otherwise.
