Actually, I understood the words and the connection they had to each other. I just didn't know why he was using them specifically to wish this member a happy birthday.
After I hit the Submit button, I proofread my post and noticed that I was (possibly) wishing
Phylum a happy birthday and I felt rather silly.
But not silly enough to edit my post.
