Okay, took the plunge and forked out my money for Minecraft. Thankfully it works, albeit with some occasional choppiness.
Spent my first day building a log cabin on a tiny island I found. I then proceeded to expand upwards, resulting in a giant sand staircase extending waaaay beyond the cabin roof.
I think I like this game.
