How could you beat enough levels in various worlds to get to the Cave of Skops without being good enough to fight another boss?

I'm stuck in the Blue Mountains. Fuck long cloud ride sequences with blue spikeythings.

Also, Rayman 3 is really good. I've finished quite a few times. Despite having the story of a game you'd expect to drag on, the gameplay was solid and amusing the whole way through.
