Wow, that's quite a backstory you've got there. You seem nice, so welcome and enjoy your time here.
A word of warning: Don't stay here too long if you value your current personality. I used to be a nice person, and two years later this place has turned me into a cynical, pedantic, irritable, unhelpful and spiteful person. Though two of those I was anyway.

But it's probably also due to the fact that one matures. I came here when I was a stupid, bouncy teenager. I'm not a stupid, bouncy young adult who.... uh... became a tiny bit more mature. But I don't feel this places has turned me for th worst.
