If you'll pardon the trite cliche, one of my housemates "sees dead people". It's freaky, actually - We'll be quite calmly sitting watching telly and she'll suddenly say "there's someone in here".
What makes it scarier is that she's predicted a lot of things before they were reported in the news. Like when those four firemen were trapped in a 4x4 under the WTC? She told me someone was in the room telling her to help his son/grandson (I forget which, now), that there were four firemen trapped in a small space and needed help... you may say why the hell would the whoeveritwas pick a student in England to tell, but still. The firemen were rescued the next day or the day after, I believe... That was just damned scary. She tends to "attract" dead airmen, for some reason - we had a lot of WW2 spitfire pilots in the sitting room last year, and even one Nazi airman (who was apparently very sorry for what he'd done for his country and wanted her to say sorry for him). She says they're like spirits who've got "lost" on the way from the mortal plane to wherever it is they're meant to be going...
