The 9th Annual Oddworld Forums Poster Awards
Live from the intercontinentally-acclaimed studios of Just Add VAT! It's The 9th Annual Oddworld Forums Poster Awards! Please welcome to the flamboyantly overornamented stage your sober and sensible hostiarch, Wired!
Good evening, once again, beloved denizens of these hallowed boards, to another night of polling, anticipation and presentation as we gather to bestow iconic titles to the truly contributory members of the Oddworld Forums. We do so in a climate of renewed optimism and affluence as the mighty industries of Oddworld have begun to put behind them the troubles of previous years and are once again shipping boxxes of traditional and classic products to consumers across the planet.
But we're here to celebrate a different group, a community that has stuck together through thick, thin and thirst to remain a cohesive society after so much drought and despair. Ordinarily our great posters, fine artists and outstanding entertainers grant the Forums their attentions and efforts for no reward, but tonight we change this and vote on the members most deserving of recognition. Those categories once again:

Procedure and Rules
Returning participants will be familiar with the drill, but we'll recap procedure for the inexperienced. You are voting for which members you think are more deserving of each title based on their behaviour in 2010 (or otherwise as specified above). List your votes in this thread, or send them to me privately by email or private message. For each category you should vote for ideally one member, and certainly no more than three.
You don't have to vote someone for every category, but you cannot vote for yourself, nor can you tell anyone else for whom they should vote. Don't post updates of who's winning, you'll ruin the surprise for everyone else, plus you could be missing on the privately-cast votes. Breaking the rules will nullify your votes and render you ineligable to win any awards.
To some this may seem like a popularity contest or an arena for institutionalized bullying, but it's all done in the name of good honest fun. Don't feel bad if you don't get voted for something or anything: the awards bestow no tangeable benefit on the winners. Except for extraordinary wealth and eternal bliss.
Now get cracking! I really wanna see those votes!
