How do you non-travellers have so many international friends close enough to bother sending presents?

San Fran isn't that close.
I got the new Discoworld book
I shall wear midnight, three different zombie books for some reason, a load of clothes (including several pairs of trousers, so I can start wearing some again), a whoopee cushion for some reason. Oh, and stuff to make a cardboard owl.
And I spent all day trying not to step on an excitable chihuahua pup.
