Except it really wouldn't. Why spend all that time and money to remake from scratch old games. If they're going to need to make a new engine, create new models, build new environments... just make a goddamn new game.

I see your point, Nate (and others). Perhaps down the pipe after, more importantly, Oddworld has built up a larger consumer base.

I'd love to see Munch's Oddysee remade (as originally intended) or using some 2.5D format.

Better yet. I'd like to see a Munch bonus game (a la Abe's Exoddus) done as Munch's Oddysee was originally intended.
