I know enough high school philosophy to know that answering "yes" to Q1 gives you your answer to Q2 ("yes" again).
It comes down to the fact that you can't make something that doesn't exist believe that it does. Any thinking being has the ability to see that they exist, and they can't very well think they exist if they don't, right?
Problem is, from there you can't prove anything else. You can't prove other people think and exist, and you can' prove the physical world exists.
