I'd like to see some freaky thing too. I think it's getting harder for me to remember my dreams, more and more all the time. Sometimes, they're just too weird to explain or just really mundane stuff. And lucid dreaming, I don't know, I don't think I can do it.
I had a dream I was in some palace thing and I had to squeeze myself through this square in the floor for some reason. heeeh
I've also had nightmares of being in the hospital with some horrible disease or something, that's not even real. And I start becoming kind of part-machine (I guess) because the doctors and stuff treated me like that, or else I'd be dead in the dream. That's the best way I can explain it, but there as more to it.
I kind of have dreams too where I'm not really in them. You know? Sometimes I don't really have a sense of self in my dreams and just see a lot of images, or I see myself or what is supposed to be me in my dream from an outside perspective.
writing down your dreams right after awakening actually will help you remember your dreams.
another thing. keep trying to initiate lucid dreaming. only of course if you really want to, but don't stop because you think you'll never dream lucid.

This night was the first time I realized in my dream that I was trying to dream lucid. well it didn't work, but I was thinking of this constantly while dreaming. So I guess these reality checks seem to work.
