Holy shit. That game looks a lot better in HD.
Also, I've yet to get that far. I'm on the chapter called 'The End', second-to-last level. I don't think I'll get much further.

I'd say it's more like the comparrison between Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros 3. Similar goals and challenges, but SMB3 had better challenges, more stuff and was longer.
EDIT: And that stuff about a diferent feel

I completely agree. In fact, I felt slightly disingenuous saying that it was Mario Bros. vs. Super Mario Bros. because they are so
vastly different. SMB and SMB 3 is a much more fitting analogy.

I assure you, I will be playing this game. The Steam release is tomorrow, I'd expect them to have a demo. But fuck it, I'm just a kid without a proper disposable income. If I can find a reason not to spend money, I'll seize it.
Did I mention we also get about 5 extra characters and achievements?  |
I'm glad to hear it, because if you like platformers, and are any good at them, you should play this. Also, you'll definitely get a demo, but make sure you play the dark world in it, because if you only play the demo's light world then the game will seem boring.
