I built a nice lookout tower which is my current house, protected from enemies.
I've pretty much accomplished my initial goal to make one of each tool (for gold and diamond). I also have 5 saddles, both the green and yellow vinyl records.
My tip is to dig right down to bedrock and then dig horizontally. You'll usually find some lava chasms. Not only are the lava chasms usually in large empty spaces, you'll find a lot of ores along the walls. Always dig out the dirt/gravel on the lower levels, you'll find some good stuff.

That picture of the diamonds was where I replaced the graphics of granite with diamonds. My friend thought it was pretty funny. Also... Snake - Big Boss skin!
