In my opinnion Oddworld doesn't work in 3D.
I believe that if OWI started to make 2D games (similar to AO/AE) for PSP, they could be a success. But not a big thing, as they are 3D games that rule the market.

I don't think you can immediately dismiss 3D Oddworld games purely on the reception of MO.
Yes, the 2D games were fantastic, but I think if enough time and energy were spent on a 3D Oddworld game it could be amazing.
