really? i mean, mario, crash bandicoot, metal gear solid, final fantasy... they were 'crazy popular'.. but abe's oddysee? really? no, i'm asking, really?
Popular and liked are different.. Much hype can be put on an upcoming game to make it popular even if it isn't liked as massively. Was Abe's Oddysee crazy popular, or crazy liked? And was it a one-hit-wonder gameplay model? Would that same model survive in 2011? Would the same characters back then have as much of a positive impact in a revised gameplay style?
