Alright, using Paul's editor, I

1. extracted MIPATH.bnd from the original mi.lvl
2. deleted MIPATH.bnd from the original mi.lvl
3. added the extracted MIPATH.bnd to mi.lvl
4. saved

And the resulting .lvl was enough to crash Exoddus. What's the version of Paul's editor I should be using?
