No, those scoops weren't in the game, I would definitely remember them.
I wonder why those images didn't make it into to the super good ending, they seem relevant and they were already in the game files. Maybe they left behind surprises for people who wanted to dig into the game files, Valve seems to do that, they don't cut anything from the program files.
