In answer to your question, your slig has to start by actually physically arriving at the factory - most people arrive by train - and becoming an employee. You can't say your character has been around since the factory re-opened; since the RPG started several years ago, someone probably would have noticed this random slig wandering around all that time.
Hand-in-hand with that, there are no random characters in this RPG. With the exception of animals and people on fones or delivering from trains and the like, all characters must have an individual profile and belong to a specific player.
You also need to post your character's profile in the
W@RF Profile Thread as well as in here. So if in three months people want to look up your character they don't have to trawl through two hundred old posts to find it.
