Just because it's different doesn't mean it would be bad.
If it had been the FINAL nail, the game wouldn't have progressed far enough to be announced. The FINAL nail was some unethical behaviour on the part of their publishers that caused him to be disillusioned about the games industry.

Your argument to my comment stating that the weaponry looked like any other shooting game is "Just because it's different?"
I already stated that I am aware there were many other factors - that includes the publishers raping him up the ass. Who's to say which one was the final nail, diillusion due to publishers, or disillusion due to the development team's lack of originality. However it is clear Lorne was not nearly as interested after they took the more "realistic" approach.
So in that aspect they were BOTH nails, don't argue over which one came first. I think we can both agree at least, that the game has been laid to rest, so the nails are definitely there. Maybe it will be dug up some day but for now it is dead.
