Yeah, of course, people can be as much of an ass as they want. I don't believe I have ever said they couldn't. But in the same vein, I have every right to mention it annoys me. Not that I really do it all that often. Out of my (now) 154 posts, I think maybe 3 of them have been spent mentioning the negativity here can get ridiculous.
... and you know, what? It CAN. Most fanbases aren't like this, and it's downright embarrassing at times. You're damn right I'm going to bitch about it, because it's ridiculous. YOU get the fuck over it. Some people are here because they want to enjoy being a fan of something they really like. If they don't like some of the entitlement bullshit and trolling that goes on here, they have every right to call you out on it.

No, they don't. "Tons" of them do not. A few do, yes, but they are vastly the minority. Most creators keep a firm professional distance between their fanbase, and for good reason. I think you run a serious risk getting too involved with them.

Lorne has no obligation to spend his time on the Forums, and when it comes down to it he recognizes that he owes every bit of his success to the fans.

I'm not sure if you are talking to me with all of this or not, because I didn't think I was being a douche. I meant what I said, and I'm sorry if it offends the staff here, because I wasn't trying to talk bad about the website itself or those who run it. I just feel that it's probably for the best that Lorne doesn't come here.
