I hate Glenn Beck, but luckily he's an idiot and doesn't really need hating.

He's not an idiot. He's incredibly smart at manipulating his audience for the purposes of ratings. And he's just smart enough to know that it's more important as a pundit to sound like he believes what he's saying than to actually do so.
