I've been dreaming of an AoE-style game with a persistent world. Now here it is, and - fuck, it reminds me of Tom and Jerry. Who the hell came up with this shit?
I want to make Age of Pirates. Each person has an island which they can grow a town and whatever on, and you can sail out into the ocean and raid other islands as well as explore mainlands. During a sea battle you actually control what each unit does - sea battles are just as tactical as a normal AoE battle!
Unfortunately I can't code or do 3D art. :P
